Support email

For anything about using Ledgerlyne, a bug, or a book that will not open.
Email us and a person reads it. Or start below with the things people ask about most: where your file is, what happens when two devices change the same book, restoring a backup, and moving to a new computer.

Apple handles payment, billing and refunds for the subscription. Manage it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
See the pricing page for the cancellation steps.
Which version you are using (iPhone, iPad, the Windows app, or the browser and which one), what you were doing, and the exact wording of any message Ledgerlyne showed you. If it is about a specific book, tell us where the file is kept — iCloud Drive, Dropbox, a local folder.
Please do not email us your .ledgerlyne file or your financial records unless we have asked for something specific. We do not need them to answer most questions.
Ledgerlyne keeps your books in a file you control, which answers most of these questions and causes the rest of them.
Wherever you chose when you created the book. Ledgerlyne does not hold a copy, so we cannot look it up for you.
Then one of the saves will be refused, on purpose. Before every save Ledgerlyne checks the file's revision; if the book changed elsewhere since you opened it, it tells you instead of writing over the other version. It does not merge the two.
A Ledgerlyne backup is a file, so restoring one is a file operation you do yourself.
We hold no copy of your book, so we cannot restore one for you. Keeping your own backups matters.
Nothing has to be migrated out of Ledgerlyne, because the book is not stored inside the app.
No. The installers are not code-signed, so SmartScreen shows an “unrecognized app” warning on first run. Choose More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather not run unsigned software, use the browser version, which installs nothing.
The desktop app does not sell subscriptions. The subscription is an in-app purchase in the iPhone and iPad app, which is awaiting App Store review, so it cannot be started yet. When the app is approved you will be able to subscribe there and sign in on Windows with the same Apple account.
Every book records the opaque identifier of the account that owns it, and the apps reject a book that belongs to a different signed-in account. Sign in with the Apple account that created the book.
That is how the browser version works in Safari and Firefox: you can open a book, but saving produces a downloaded copy that you have to put back over the original yourself. Chrome or Edge on a computer can save directly into the file after you grant access to it once.
Those do not exist in Ledgerlyne today, and we will not describe them as coming until they do. Tell us what you need and it goes on the list.
You can delete the Ledgerlyne login account and the native app's local library from Settings inside the app. That does not cancel Apple billing, and it does not delete files kept in your own storage — those are yours to remove. See the Privacy Policy.
One person reads support email. Include what you tried and what Ledgerlyne told you, and you will get a real answer.
